Fall> Halloween> Thanksgiving Table Centerpiece Transformation for $40

November 12, 2017

Can I get an amen for PUMPKINS!!! Which are the perfect staple to all of my fall decor.  Pumpkins are amazing because they can take you through all the months of Fall (September, October, & November. FYI they are about to go on super sale everywhere...espeically after Thanksgiving.  That is why I thought the timing was right for this bog post to actually plan yours for next year...by getting everything on SALE now! Also, even though lots of people are decorating for Christmas...Thanksgiving still hasn't happened! (and to each their own no judgement of when you decorate over here!)  I love the vibrant pops of orange they bring into my home!  The trick is to subtly add small pops of different decor to change it up from typical fall (In September), Halloween (In October), and Thanksgiving (In November)... I try to be as creative as possible so I don't have to spend a lot of money.  Being creative can be challenging but fun at the same time.  The transition between the holidays only cost me a total of $40.00....the things already on the table did cost more than that ;) ...(But I already had all of it..so what I added was 40 dollars total)

The first picture above is of my September fall table scape!  This is the very first table scape that I have really ever done!  I promised myself for this one I was not going to spend any money and use what I had from previous years.  I love mixing pops of color together (if you haven't noticed haha!).  The teal and orange just is such a fun combo and really pops!

The centerpiece of my fall table scape is a mix of awesome textured and different colored pumpkins that were lucky Home Goods finds!  I wish I could add a link for them...but you know how Home Goods is....you walk by something and then "POOF" it's gone! The candle holders (which are all varying heights) are from Pottery Barn. They don't have the same exact ones because mine are pretty old.  I have linked similar ones below:

The natural flameless candles were also from pottery barn linked below:

The fun and sparkly teal plate chargers are from Pier 1 (On SALE right now for $15)

The teal napkins are also from Pier 1 (On SALE for $3.96)

I found natural sting in my closet and tied them into little bows to finish up the table!

HERE is where the transformation starts!  I needed to transform this table to the next Holiday of Halloween

I found these adorable skull and spider web plates at Home Goods for $3.00 each 3x8= $24.00 total

I went to my local Dollar Tree and bought four skulls hands and placed them under the candles to make it more spooky! $4.00

I also bought spider web material at Dollar Tree for $1.00 and it came with a black spider! yay!

Here is a close up look of the centerpiece alone!  Notice how I kept the pumpkins in the same place and just added small touches to SPOOKIFY it and make it BOOTIFUL :)

Total cost of this season transformation $29.00

Then, I needed to transform this table to the next Holiday of Thanksgiving

I took down my Halloween decor on the table and stored it away in my storage closet.  Again, just making small changes to tweak it form each holiday.  The handy dandy pumpkins stayed the same with the candles.  All I added was a $3.00 turkey and a $8.00 sparkly gold Thankful sign that I found at Home Goods.

This totaled a table centerpiece transformation for a total of $40.00 for three seasons!  Not too shabby!

I also wanted to show a quick view of my Thanksgiving table scape that I just completed!  I decided to break out the aqua vintage dessert cups that I got on clearance from pier 1!  I think the extra pop of aqua really makes the table look super fun, bright, happy, and colorful. They normally are in the clear cabinets in my kitchen to add a pop of color there too!

My advice is to not get too scared to add some pops of color to traditional Fall colors!

Another tip is to also go after the season is over and buy pumpkins on clearance!  I scored amazingly beautiful pumpkins from target that were under $1.00 (over 90% off) after Halloween.  This allows you to collect an array of awesome pumpkins that have different colors, textures, shapes, and sizes that you can mix up from year to year!

I also wanted to add links to some of my tableware that I was able to find online...if you were interested!

My pottery barn tableware set is linked below:

I really wanted to find the aqua Pier 1 Import vintage dessert bowls, but they no longer sell it! Darn :(
